Rosie's Daughters is a speaker's series - meets Happy Hour - meets an intimate conversation with your closest friends.
We started Rosie's Daughters as a way to create a comfortable space in which to share our own stories and to listen to the experiences of other incredible women. The name "Rosie's Daughters" was inspired by the iconic Rosie the Riveter - a symbol that originated in the Bay Area - and is a reminder to all of us to try new things, test our limits, and believe in ourselves.
Our monthly conversations bring together notable and inspiring Bay Area women from all walks of life. We talk about purposeful themes, like taking risks, managing health, turning passion into work. We learn from each other. We pose questions. We tell stories. And we have a damn good time doing it.
There's nothing quite like a conversation with Rosie's Daughters, and that's because there's nothing quite like the women who join us.
Our organization is run by Anne and Jena (and friends!) in our spare time, and is completely not-for-profit. The cost of "tickets" to our monthly conversations covers rental space and food. If you'd like to help us out by donating space, food, or time, please contact us!
